What is life like as an artist? This is how Bais sees it:

“I think that all people like me who work in the arts underneath long for a more normal life, with a normal job and a little more economic security. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a simpler life, without being in constant pursuit of abstract, hard-to-frame things…at the same time though, I know that if I had a normal life I probably wouldn’t be able to sustain it.”
